The Fiorenza program is hosted in the second floor of  the 17th century Palazzo Guicciardini, a 3-storey building located in the heart of Florence and overlooking the Arno river and next to the British Institute Library. The palace was built by the noble family of Francesco Guicciardini, one of the most prominent members of this aristocratic family of Tuscany and author of the 16th century world-famous History of Florence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francesco_Guicciardini ).

From windows overlooking the river Arno one can enjoy a delightful view of Florence and the famous Ponte Vecchio.
